Rep. Duncan Hunter Calls Reaction To Trump Video 'Completely Unfair'
The Republican congressman said in an interview with The Washington Post, "If you had recorded the stuff my Marines and I were talking about, after not seeing a woman for seven months — but let's just leave it at that."

Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Alpine, who endorsed Donald Trump for president in February, remains a supporter of the Republican nominee for president.

In an interview with The Washington Post published Wednesday, the Republican congressman said the reaction to the Access Hollywood video in which Trump bragged about groping women was "totally unfair."

Hunter, who served in Iraq, said:

If you had recorded the stuff my Marines and I were talking about, after not seeing a woman for seven months — but let's just leave it at that. And so I find this completely unfair.

And it has nothing to do with the election. It has nothing to do with people's choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and their differences in policy. And it has no impact to me whatsoever.
Patrick Malloy, Hunter's Democratic opponent for Congress, said "we should not be surprised that Hunter is excusing Trump since he's admitting to similar conduct himself."
