San Diego State University temporarily closed the school's Children's Center because several children and staff have reported flu-like symptoms, and San Diego county health officials reported four new confirmed cases of the so-called Swine Flu today.
No one associated with the center has a confirmed case of the H1N1 virus, but the facility is being closed ``out of an abundance of caution,'' said the school's Gina Jacobs.
Earlier in the week, a student with one or two classes on campus was determined to have a probable case of the illness.
So far, there have been 15 confirmed cases of swine flu in San Diego County and 19 probable cases, according to the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency.
Kearny High School, the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Paradise Hills and Mission Hills High School in San Marcos have been closed until May 18 because of probable cases of the illness. The affected students are staying home until they recover.
Three Marines at Camp Pendleton have confirmed cases and have been isolated, according to base officials.
