Its sensual rhythms and glowing colors celebrate a culture born of migration and resilience. The program concludes with Dvořák’s luminous Symphony No. 8, overflowing with melodies inspired by birdsong, rolling hills, and Bohemian village life. In its joyous finale – a kaleidoscope of waltzes, fanfares, and rustic celebration – Dvořák creates one of the most life affirming symphonies ever written.
