  • Prepare your appetite because the College Area Business District is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Taste of College Area, happening on Sunday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come experience the flavors of one of San Diego's most diverse and evolving culinary destinations with a self-guided tasting tour through the College Area and Rolando neighborhoods. Featuring more than 20 restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and eateries, the event highlights the incredible variety of local dining experiences, from international cuisine to artisan coffee and neighborhood favorites. To help you make the most of your tasting adventure, complimentary Old Town Trolley rides will run throughout the event route, making it easy to explore participating restaurants at your own pace. The route stretches along El Cajon Boulevard from 55th Street to 73rd Street, showcasing the vibrant businesses that make the College Area a unique dining destination.   • As part of the monthly First Friday event at Liberty Station, we hold an open house at Inspirations Gallery so that you can enjoy the artwork on our walls, talk to fellow writers, and snack on a few treats. We are currently hosting a photography exhibit by Patrick McMahon. "Abtsraction": A collection of extreme close up photographs enlarged to engage the viewer in wonder and curiosity.   • Anthony Cullins is a guitarist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from Fallbrook, California. Anthony's musical influences include R&B, funk, soul, rock, jazz, and blues prominently displayed in his eclectic improvisational style he calls "psychedelic soul music", ranging from Eddie Hazel and Jeff Beck to George Benson and Eric Johnson with dozens of influences in between. Anthony won "Best Blues Artist" in the 2023 and 2024 San Diego Music Awards and "Artist of the Year" in the 2025 San Diego Music Awards. He is working on two studio albums, and has begun to tour in London, Norway, and all over the states. The Library's Summer Concerts offer the perfect midday musical escape in the Winn Room. This concert is free to attend thanks to the support of the City of Coronado and the Friends of the Coronado Public Library. Seating is first come, first seated and doors will open at 12:45 p.m.

Brix's natural wines by the glass or bottle while enjoying chef-driven cuisine and live DJ sets in a relaxed indoor-outdoor setting.
