The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Monday for the eighth consecutive day, increasing 1.3 cents to $4.818, a day after rising 2.9 cents.

Monday's temperatures will mostly be in the mid- to upper 60s on the coast and inland areas, the mid- to upper 50s in the mountains and the upper 70s in the desert areas.

February's unadjusted unemployment rate was 5.5% for California and 4.5% for the nation during the same period.

An Hawaiian Airlines flight was grounded Tuesday morning at San Diego International Airport after a bomb threat, according to San Diego Harbor Police. SDHPD and other responding agencies investigated the threat and found nothing suspicious on the aircraft.

The proposed law, SB 554, is titled “Safety Before Criminal Sanctuary,” and is a direct response to a policy passed by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors last December.

The two occupants of the aircraft have been rescued and transported to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest for evaluations.
