Trial of Saddam Hussein Examined

Audio

Tom Fudge : Former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has been convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death. Yet, his trial in a Baghdad courtroom continues. The trial of Saddam Hussein has looked like a bit of a circus to us in the U.S. We see many images of the former Iraqi leader haranguing the court and insulting the judge. Dennis Culkin was a press agent for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad during the early stages of Saddam’s trial.
