SD Schools Awarded 'A-' for Healthy Lunches

Tom Fudge : School lunch is not something that a lot of us expect to be any good. But since diet in America is the source of so many health problems, like diabetes and obesity, making a decent lunch is serious business. One group that takes it seriously is the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. This year they released grades for more than 20 large school districts that responded to a survey. Some districts, like Anchorage, Alaska and St. Louis, got F's. But San Diego got the second-highest grade of the bunch. Its "A-" was only exceeded by Pinellas County Florida.
