Motown favorites Smokey Robinson & the Miracles perform "Mickey's Monkey" in this celebration of the golden era of rock 'n' roll dance music.

For the first time ever, the MY MUSIC series focuses on the most joyful dance hits of the early rock era starting with the Eisenhower era explosion of Bill Haley and Jerry Lee Lewis to the 1960s cultural phenomenon of Chubby Checker with “The Twist” and the youthful frat-rock sounds of The Kingsmen.

"50s & 60s Party Songs" (MY MUSIC) is a foot-thumping, heart-beating, good-time celebration of the classic party music that has spanned generations to remain favorites through the decades. Hosted by the legendary Chubby Checker, "50s & 60s Party Songs" (MY MUSIC) is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations beginning May 2014.
