Do you live on a busy thoroughfare? Are you frustrated by speeding drivers chatting on cell phones while careening through your neighborhood?
A family in West Salem, Ohio has discovered an ingenious albeit creepy solution to this. They have erected cardboard cutouts of children along the street to slow motorists down. The cutouts look surprisingly good -- make sure to look at the slideshow provided.
The cardboard children are now being sold for $60 a piece to homeowners associations and concerned residents. It could boom into quite a cottage industy. They might add cardboard dogs to their repertoire. It looks like they've already worked on a cop with a radar gun -- although it looks really fake.
Even though I find the life-size cutouts unsettling, I have to admit, that's using the old noggin.'
