New KPBS TV Series Highlights Historic Places in San Diego

San Diego is home to many architectural treasures. In the new KPBS Television series "San Diego's Historic Places," we'll look at the community of Burlingame and some of its historically significant

Tom Fudge : San Diego has its ups and downs as an urban place. One thing it does have are distinct neighborhoods with their own history and character. Hillcrest, Kensington, Barrio Logan. Mention those names to a local resident and they will think of images and stories.

What about Burlingame? That might not be quite so well known, but it has a character that's informed by a rich history. The story of Burlingame is told in a program that airs tonight on KPBS. The program is called San Diego's Historic Places.
