Tom Fudge : Asians can't play basketball, but they can be funny. That's seems to be the logical conclusion you draw after watching Ping Pong Playa , a new movie by documentary film maker Jessica Yu. Ping Pong Playa is the film that opens the 9th annual San Diego Asian Film Festival, which begins tomorrow night at Ultra Star Theaters in Hazard Center.
We're going to talk about the festival, and what it has to offer this weekend, during the rest of These Days. To start things off we're going to talk about Jessica Yu's first narrative film feature.
