A large garbage fire in Tijuana is blowing a plume of smoke into southern San Diego County.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Smoke from the blaze was seen Sunday along the San Diego coast.
Police say they received several calls from residents who were concerned about the smoke.
Captain Nick Schuler of CalFire said it's unlikely flames will spark a brush fire.
