It's March Madness redeux for the seventh-seeded San Diego State men's basketball team, when the Aztecs face off against the University of Oklahoma Sooners in Philadelphia on Friday.
Head Coach Steve Fisher said with the game so far from home, he doesn't expect to see much Aztec red and black in the stands.
"We probably won't have a lot of San Diego State fans at Philadelphia," Fisher said. "I'm sure at this stage it's a very expensive ticket."
Despite back-to-back losses during last week's Mountain West conference tournament in Las Vegas, Fisher said the Aztecs are ready to play hard.
"We are anxious to go prove that we belong and if we play well, we'll have a great chance to win," he said.
This is SDSU's fourth year in a row in the tournament. Friday's winner will play either Georgetown or Florida Gulf Coast next Sunday.
