SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The eighth annual IndieFest, with two days of live music, film screenings and other performances, continues its run Saturday.
Musicians, visual artists, comedians, dancers and poets are set to perform on six stages at the NTC Promenade in Liberty Station, to encourage environmental and humanitarian activism.
Among the 75 films that will be screened, is "Inocente.'' The expose on a 15-year-old San Diego homeless girl won an Academy Award for best short documentary earlier this year.
Organizers promise the event will be family friendly and "wildly eclectic.''
