A Germanwings Jet with 142 passengers and six crew members on board has crashed in the southern French Alps, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said.
The Airbus A320 was traveling from Barcelona, Spain, to Dusseldorf, Germany.
Germanwings, a budget carrier, is a subsidiary of German carrier Lufthansa.
