The affected locations included City Heights, Chollas Creek, the College area, Hillcrest, Kensington, Mission Hills, Normal Heights, North Park, Old Town, Talmadge and University Heights.

The cause of the problems was not immediately clear.

The San Diego LGBT Community Center in Hillcrest closed due to the outage, the organization said on Facebook.
