The television show "Alpha Dogs" premieres tonight on the Nat Geo Wild channel.
The program chronicles the Vohne Liche Kennels in Peru, Indiana - founded by U.S Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Kenneth Licklider in 1993.
Licklider and his crew help train pups to become military working dogs as well as police canines.
Licklider told the Kokomo Tribune that film crews followed him and his fellow trainers six-days-a-week between May and October of 2012:
“It was a lot more intense than any of us thought it would be. The process was arduous.”
The 16-episode series premieres tonight with an episode called "Life and Death." Will you watch? You can catch a sneak peek by clicking here.
