CROSSING SOUTH: Dog Shelter & Bichi Wine
Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 9:30 p.m. on KPBS TV + Monday, March 20 at 9:30 p.m. on KPBS 2 / Watch now with the PBS App
On this episode, we get to meet Pris Austin, the golden hearted owner of Los Adoptables dog shelter in Ensenada. Get ready to fall in love with the four-footed friends we see. This multinational effort to make a dent in the stray dog population by helping them find homes is truly noble.
Next, we take a trip to Tecate where Noel Téllez shows us his famous Bichi Wine. Bichi could mean “au naturel,” naked, and that’s the pure style of the wine-making going on at this vineyard.
