Gas Prices In San Diego Fall Again

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County decreased today for the 42nd consecutive day, falling a half-cent to $3.802, its lowest amount since July 24.

The average price has dropped 92.3 cents over the past 41 days, including a half-cent on Sunday, after rising 54.7 cents over the previous six days to a record high of $4.725 on Oct. 8, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 5.7 cents less than one week ago and 72.3 cents lower than one month ago, but 1.8 cents more than one year ago.
