Streak Of Falling Gas Prices Ends

A 48-day streak of decreases ended today when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was unchanged at $3.779.

The average price dropped 94.6 cents during the streak, the longest since a 91-day run from Sept. 16-Dec. 15, 2008, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 2.3 cents less than one week ago and 48.7 cents lower than one month ago, but 6.9 cents more than one year ago.
