The National Weather Service says minor beach erosion during the late morning high tides is possible with higher waves hitting the bottom of the Ocean Beach pier and washing over jetties.

Breaking waves across the entrance to Mission Bay during the late afternoon and early evening low tides are also possible.

A high surf advisory means conditions affecting beaches in the advisory area, producing rip currents and localized beach erosion.
