Above average temperatures and night and morning fog at the coast are expected Thursday and Friday in the San Diego area.
The conditions are being caused by high pressure suppressing the marine layer, the National Weather Service said.
Highs on Thursday and Friday will be 10 degrees above average, KPBS media partner 10News said. Cooler temperatures are expected over the weekend as a trough moves through Northern California, increasing onshore flow and deepening the marine layer, the weather service said.
Low clouds are expected Saturday night all the way to the lower mountain slopes with patchy drizzle possible, the weather service said.
