Lebanese Cabinet Member Shot Dead

Anti-Syrian Christian politician Pierre Gemayel was assassinated in a suburb of Beirut on Tuesday, his Phalange Party radio station reported. Gemayel was the Lebanese government's industry minister, and the son of former President Amin Gemayel.
