America's 'Al Qaeda Homegrown' from Oregon

Adam Gadahn, the American-born spokesman for al-Qaida, is the first American to be charged with treason in more than 50 years. Gadhan, an Oregon native, is believed to be hiding near the mountainous border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

How he came to be there is the subject of a new article in the Jan. 22 issue of The New Yorker by Raffi Khatchadourian: "Azzam the American: The Making of an Al Qaeda Homegrown."

Melissa Block talks with Khatchadourian.
