In Trinidad, No Bail for N.Y. Airport Plot Suspects

A Trinidadian court has denied bail to three men accused of being part of a plot to blow up fuel installations feeding New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The three were ordered to remain in jail until an extradition hearing later this month. A fourth alleged conspirator in the plot is in custody in New York.

The case has trained attention on Islam in the Caribbean region, where some analysts say poverty and a diet of ant-Americanism could help feed radicalism.
