Tension continues to mount between Turkey and the Kurdistan Workers' Party, also known as the PKK.
Kurdish rebels with the PKK ambushed Turkish troops over the weekend, killing 12 people and leaving eight more unaccounted for. Now, the rebel group appears to be on the verge of a ceasefire, but Turkish troops are already on their way to Turkey's porous border with Iraq.
