U.S. Steps Up Raids on Al-Qaida in Iraq

Al-Qaida in Iraq, once thought to be nearly vanquished, seems to be back on the U.S. military agenda.

Althought there are reduced levels of violence in Iraq, several recent raids have targeted members of the extremist group.

Marina Ottaway, Middle East program director at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and Andrew Tilghman, former Iraq correspondent for Stars and Stripes, speak with Liane Hansen.
