University of San Diego History Lecturer David Miller discusses the historical differences in the policing of Black demonstrators and Violent White Mobs.
Last week’s attack at the Capitol raised many questions about how law enforcement responded to the violent mob of predominantly white rioters compared to their response and preparation over the summer during protests for criminal justice reform. University of San Diego Lecturer David Miller who teaches race and ethnicity along with the Civil War joined Midday Edition to talk about how this moment in history is a consequence of the past.
