The Marines are investigating the unexpected death of Cpl. Jerome Ventura, the fifth servicemember assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar to die in recent weeks. The 23-year-old from Holtsville, New York was found unconscious Saturday night, according to the Marine Corps Times. He was rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, where doctors pronounced him dead.
