Marines Top Medal Count At 2012 Warrior Games (Video)

For the third year running, the Marines topped the medal count at the Warrior Games, which took place this year at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado from May 1-5.

The Marine Corps team was awarded the Chairman's Cup on the final day of competition, according to DVIDS:

The Chairman’s Cup is awarded to the team that wins the most medals in competitions including archery, cycling, shooting, wheelchair basketball, seated volleyball, swimming and track and field. The Marines took 89 with the Army being their closest competitors with only 63 medals. The rest of the teams, the Navy/Coast Guard, Air Force and Special Operations had a combined score of only 57.
