Ex-Navy Reservist Wanted For Murder Last Seen Near Navy Base (Video)

The manhunt for ex-LAPD cop Christopher Dorner has moved to near the U.S. Navy Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center in San Diego. Christopher Dorner was a Navy reservist who served in San Diego, according to KNSD-TV.

Dorner is on the run after allegedly killing two people over the weekend and shooting three police officers this morning.

KNSD-TV reports Dorner served as a U.S. Navy Reservist from July 2002 until just last week:

He was deployed to Bahrain from Nov. 2006 through April 2007 in a riverine group aboard a patrol craft in the Gulf. The group was based in Bahrain and provided security for military operations in the gulf.

Dorner's wallet and badge were discovered near San Diego International airport this morning, according to U-T San Diego.

San Diego police Det. Gary Hassen told USA Today:

"I don't think there's anybody in law enforcement who isn't looking for him..."

Hassen told the Associated Press that a man matching Dorner's description tried to steal a boat from Shelter Island marina Wednesday night:

When the engine failed to start, the suspect tied up an 81-year-old man who was on the boat and then fled.

Dorner, 33, is wanted for the murders of Monica Quan and her fiancé, Keith Lawrence in Irvine, California. Dorner is also a suspect in the shooting of three Corona police officers early this morning. I've posted a news story from KABC-TV up top for more background on the case.
