Medicare Bill May Face Senate Filibuster

A sweeping Medicare reform bill heads for a potential vote in the Senate after narrowly winning approval in the House in a pre-dawn vote Saturday. The $400-billion bill would add a prescription drug benefit to Medicare and encourage reliance on private health care programs. Some Senate Democrats urge colleagues to filibuster the measure.
