President Bush is naming new people to lead the war in Iraq, the intelligence war on terrorism and the diplomatic fight at the United Nations.
In one key move, National Intelligence Director John Negroponte will go to the State Department to serve as top deputy to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
President Bush has nominated intelligence veteran Michael McConnell to replace Negroponte in the Cabinet-level post. The shuffle could signal Rice's eventual departure.
