Iranian President Reaches Out with Saudi Visit

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad travels to Saudi Arabia this weekend for talks on regional security, ahead of a meeting next week in Baghdad to discuss the security situation there.

The Bush administration announced that it will participate in the Baghdad meeting despite the presence of Iran and Syria, governments the U.S. has been reluctant to meet with publicly.

Rami Khouri of the Beirut-based Daily Star newspaper speaks with Lynn Neary about the regional talks.
