Ruling Changes the Legal Landscape for Abortion

At the United States Supreme Court this week, a newly constituted court — with two new Bush appointees — changed the landscape on abortion. By a 5-4 vote the court upheld a regulation banning the abortion procedure that opponents call partial birth.
