Two people died in a fire today in a modular home in this small community east of Julian, a Cal Fire battalion chief said.
The fire was reported just after 3 a.m. in the 7000 block of Gunslinger Trail, Chief Nick Schuler said.
The home was fully involved in flame when firefighters arrived, Schuler said.
He said damage was set at $200,000 and the cause was under investigation.
