  • Class Description: An author platform is all about visibility and building an audience for your work. And here’s a surprise: Social media is only a small slice of the platform pie! In this workshop, we’ll clear up common misconceptions about what an author platform really is and explore the many components that make it thrive. You’ll assess your own strengths, identify areas to grow, and leave with a practical plan—and the confidence—to begin building a powerful, authentic platform that supports your writing career. Disclaimers: Please be advised that it is best to register at least a week before the start of a class to help our instructors prepare and ensure that it does not get canceled or rescheduled. Policies regarding registration, refunds, cancellations, etc., can be found on our policies page. At the end of the course, please complete the evaluation form—your feedback is invaluable for improving our classes and supporting the grant reporting that makes these programs possible.
