  • Jami Shapiro, Certified Senior Move Manager and Founder of Silver Linings Transitions, will explore the emotional and practical challenges of managing our belongings as we age. This presentation addresses the difficult decisions we face when sorting through a lifetime of possessions, especially when adult children may not want the items we've treasured. You'll discover the important distinction between decluttering and organizing, learn about community resources available to help, and understand how changes in today's resale market affect the value and disposition of our belongings. Join us for an honest conversation about taking control of our possessions rather than letting them control us. This San Diego Oasis event is free to attend thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Branch Library.
