If you’ve ever thought of car-pooling or van-pooling, you might have focused on the potential downsides. What if you have to work late? Do you have to leave work anyway to catch your ride? And what about that half-hour ride to work in a car with one or two other people? Do you have to make conversation? Will you fight over which radio station to play?

This week is Rideshare Week. Allison Richards-Evensen is the marketing manager for the RideLink Program, sponsored by SANDAG, the San Diego Association of Governments. She discusses some of the program highlights this week.
