(Guest Host Alan Ray): If you live or work near Capitol Hill these days, you certainly live in interesting times. Republicans are lining up to diss the attorney general in public. While Democrats are looking for common ground with the gun lobby to reduce the chance that people with severe mental problems can secure the kind of fire power that brought numbing tragedy to Virginia Tech a week ago.

And while all that's going on, handfuls of San Diego locals have made it to Washington DC to mount a talk show-driven protest against immigration.
