This week, the Chula Vista City Council voted to oppose the construction of a new power plant on the city's bay front, and to support the demolition of the existing South Bay power plant. Where will the city get its power in the future? 

Also, the San Diego City Council will soon decide if Stephen Cushman should get a third term on the Port Commission. Should the council change its term limit policy to accommodate the requests to keep Cushman?

And, it looks like tougher border enforcement practices are reducing illegal immigration into the U.S. What will this mean to the debate over comprehensive immigration reform?
