(Guest Host): They have been called the glittering diamond in the skies of Israeli music.

The Israeli Contemporary String Quartet is a group of young women who, though they have only been playing together for a few years, have built up a reputation for being not only amazingly talented but daringly creative. They've broken the barriers between classical and contemporary music, played in multimedia performances and are changing the way music is written in Israel today.

The Israel Contemporary String Quartet plays at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Monday) at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in La Jolla.
