Tom Fudge : If you've seen the movie Hard Days Night , you've seen Pattie Boyd. She was the cute blond girl on the train, who listened as the Beatles performed I Should have Known Better. The movie appearance led to a marriage proposal from Beatle George Harrison, which Boyd ultimately accepted. Then came the breakup of the band, and the breakup of Pattie and George. Then came a marriage between Pattie and another rock superstar, Eric Clapton.

As you can see, she's had a very close look at the strange reality of rock celebrity and what it does to people.

Boyd’s photography will be on display at the The Photography of Pattie Boyd exhibit, opening tomorrow at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in La Jolla.
