KPBS reporter Alison St John talked to Mayor Jerry Sanders tonight about his lead in early election results for the San Diego mayor's race. (Click the "listen" icon to hear his response.)
Sanders: We certainly didn’t expect to get 52 percent of the absentee ballots, cause a lot of those were cast before I started my TV advertising, before S&P came out and before the Attorney General’s report, so we felt really good about getting 52 percent of the absentee. That’s really a good sign.
