The Senate passed a $700 billion financial bailout proposal late Wednesday night, and now the financial rescue plan moves on to the House for a Friday vote. What's been changed in the massive bailout proposal that might encourage the House of Representatives to pass the plan?
Plus, the first and only vice presidential debate was held this week. Who won the showdown between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin?
And, changes are afoot at the San Diego Union-Tribune. Copely Press recently announced that it would like to sell the newspaper, and there has been considerable downsizing in the U-T newsroom over the last couple years.
