Tom Fudge: Yesterday's game between the Chargers and the Buffalo Bills looked like it was going down to the wire, and it seemed to be heading to a Charger win. But then Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers, at first down and goal to go in the fourth quarter, hit a receiver in the end zone. Unfortunately, the receiver was a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills. The score at the end was 23-14 Bills. The loss threw the Chargers a game below .500. Their next game takes place in London, against the New Orleans Saints.
Joining me to spend a few minutes talking about sports is Hacksaw Hamilton. We'll look at the fortunes of the Chargers and the possibility that John Moores may sell a chunk of the San Diego Padres, as that team struggles to rebuild after a very bad season.
