What We Do is Secret

What We Do Is Secret (Vitagraph Films)

What We Do Is Secret (opening September 5 at Landmark's Ken Cinema) chronicles the life and death of punk rocker Darby Crash. The film marks the feature writing and directing debut of Rodger Grossman and stars popular TV actor Shane West (of ER fame) as the Germs' notorious frontman.

I thought this movie was great! AND, all the actors learned how to play their instruments, just for the movie! that's awesome!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. I think my disappointment was heightened by having seen the other films I mentioned. Thanks for the comment.

Control was very good and wasn't playing in the theater for very long, blink and it's gone. After reading your review, I'll be skipping this one in the theater.

Yeah it's too bad Control didn't last longer, I thought it was well made and tackled what could have been very familiar turf with freshness. And the black and white photography was amazing. Thanks for the comment.
