Maureen Cavanaugh : In January we began a series of interviews with members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, and today we can say we've completed the mission. The chair of the board, Dianne Jacob, is my guest. Supervisor Jacob is currently in her fifth term of representing the Second District, which covers most of San Diego's East County.
The board of supervisors controls a $5 billion budget and provides critical services from health care to public safety and firefighting. And yet, many San Diegans are not really familiar with the work, or the members of the board of supervisors.
