Senator Arlen Specter surprised many this week with the announcement that he is switching his political party affiliation from Republican to Democrat. What motivated Specter to make his decision?
Gloria Penner: On the same day that the president was recognizing his first 100 days in office and getting disturbing information about swine flu, he got a gift of sorts from Pennsylvania's Senator Arlen Specter. The venerable senator is taking his moderate politics from the republican party to the democratic party. What motivated Specter to make his decision?
