Marvel Comics fans of Mr. Fantastic, Human Torch, Invisible Girl and The Thing have had to wait a long time for their superheroes to make it to the big screen as a major Hollywood production (I dont think the 1994 feature film version would count as a major Hollywood production). This summer, Fantastic Four (opening July 8 throughout San Diego) finally arrives in theaters. But was it worth the wait?
Although Fantastic Four is Marvels longest running comic book series, it has been passed over or back burnered as Blade, Spider-Man and X-Men have been given priority. But now the so-called Greatest Comic in the World gets to join its other Marvel big screen cohorts.
